Explore the hiking trails at Tappan Lake our first ever Winter Hike! Stop by the Activity Center to pick up a map with suggested routes to hike on your own or join MWCD staff for a guided group hike along the Deer Trail. Guided hike will leave the Activity Center promptly at 10:15am. Warm up in the Activity Center with soups, coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies between 10am and 1pm.
Registration is strongly suggested to help us have enough food for the crowd.
Be prepared for natural surface hiking trails with moderate to steep inclines by wearing hiking shoes/boots, bringing a bottle of water. In case of snow or ice, the guided group hike may take place on the Beach Trail.
